Sickness Absence Team Leader

Key Purpose

Why? Due to our continued company expansion the need has arisen to appoint a Sickness Absence Team Leader within the operations team to support the Senior Operations Manager.

Who? Clarity are seeking a motivated, ambitious individual who can demonstrate authority, have good leadership skills and the ability to use initiative. Excellent organisational skills and problem-solving skills are a must.

Where? Reporting through the senior operations manager the role will be based at our Manchester office, where you will become an integral part of the operations function.

What? Your main responsibilities will be distribution of work for 2 booking co-ordinators, production and reporting figures, financial reporting, solving operational issues, diary management, overseeing KPIs, accepting responsibility for the team in the absence of the senior operations manager along with upholding the companies standard and culture.

When? This Vacancy will be considered exclusively for COH Employees until 24th May 2024

Daily and Weekly Figures.
  • Daily figures – ensuring the team are taking responsibility for their own daily figures and reporting accurate figures daily.   
  • Weekly figures – ensuring that the team are taking responsibility for their own weekly figures. 
  • Keeping the Senior Operations Manager informed of all issues and up to date.
Dairy Management.
  • Monitor diary activity for external resource – OHAs  
  • Ensure that the Operations Coordinators are making their bookings accurately and on-time, in line with Company and customer requirements and KPIs.
  • Allocate work to the correct Operations Coordinator ensuring that they manage the workflow.
  • Gaps analysis – ensure that visibility of diaries is available across all external resource.
Planning Logistics of Work.
  • Logistical planning – identify problems from weekly operations meetings, ensuring that the Operations Coordinators are addressing these problems.
  • Assist with the resolution of problems and issues ensuring that all external resource individuals are allocated to the correct locations with appropriate travel time.
  • Manage last minute cancellations and sickness and ensuring all resource are allocated correct location and travel time.
New Customer On-boarding.
  • Assist with on-boarding set up and allocation of Operations Coordinators when new customers are set up.
  • Liaise with the On-Boarding Manager and appropriate Operations Coordinator when new customers are set up.
IT Systems.
  • Manage the COHORT Inbox, ensuring that all work is allocated accurately and in a timely manner.
Management of Operations Coordinators.
  • Provide direction and assistance to OHA Booking Team on an ongoing basis and when required.
Financial / Operations Tasks.
  • Overseeing weekly ops report/Sign Off.
