SEQOHS Accreditation

SEQOHS accreditation provides independent and impartial recognition that the occupational health service provider having been independently assessed against the SEQOHS standards, has objectively demonstrated their competence, as defined by the SEQOHS standards, to a team of trained assessors. The aim is to raise the overall standard of care provided by Occupational Health providers.

The SEQOHS standards are reviewed 5 yearly incorporating any legislative changes, ethical considerations and evidenced based best practice guidelines.

Following the initial award of accreditation, we are required to demonstrate that we have maintained the standards of our service on an annual basis by completing an annual renewal assessment.

Key Benefits:

  • Provides recognition that the service provider has demonstrated their competence
  • Identifies good practice
  • Provides a standard for all services, improving consistency
  • Provide the opportunity to continually develop existing services
  • Identifies resource requirements to deliver an effective service
  • Develops cost-effective management guidelines and standardises care

The accreditation represents a quality mark demonstrating that accredited OH services provide a safe, effective, quality OH service, and we are delighted to have achieved this status.
