Finance Administrator

We are internally recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join our expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raising weekly / monthly invoices & sending to customers
  • Performing credit control duties, Contact customers by telephone, email etc. regarding the collection of debt in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Work towards targets for cash collection to reduce outstanding debt
  • Reconciliation of accounts to ensure statements produced are accurate and cash/credit notes are posted to invoices as per the customers’ requirements.
  • Deal with financial queries and disputes relating to invoicing. This will involve working with internal departments to resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • Ability to identify potential problem accounts, recommending accounts to be placed on stop or legal action.
  • Setting up new clients through the system ensuring the correct forms and credit checks have been completed.
  • Reporting outstanding debt owed and queries to the Finance Manager weekly.
  • Processing consultant invoices and payment runs.
  • Processing employee expenses forms & company credit card administration.
  • Calculating mileage claim forms.
  • Providing support to key finance processes
  • Covering other roles within the department on an adhoc basis.
  • Other adhoc duties
 
Requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
