Clinical Support Manager

Key Purpose:

Due to the expanded remit of the Quality Manager an opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Support Manager to provide support to the Clinical Support/Quality Function.
Clarity are looking for someone with exceptional leadership and organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and to be able to communicate effectively with others. A willingness to learn is a key quality as the clinical support function is constantly evolving, and the successful candidate will need to be able to adapt to new technologies and procedures.

Reporting through the Quality Manager the role will involve overseeing the Clinical Support department and its team members, providing appropriate leadership,. ensuring that assessments of Health Surveillance are consistent, appropriate, and based on current best practice. You will be responsible for the production of weekly reports and discussing these with the Clinical Director. The Clinical Support Manager will also be involved in all record management activities, including transfer of records, ensuring all paper records are stored safely and securely, and implementing and maintaining record management processes.

You will also assist the Quality Manager with internal and external audits to ensure that all data is compliant with GDPR and data protection legislation.
