What Is a Mobile Medical Unit?

A Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) is a fully equipped, purpose-built clinical vehicle designed to deliver occupational health assessments directly at your workplace. Each unit functions as a mobile clinic, allowing health surveillance, medicals and screening to be carried out on-site without the need for employees to travel off-site.

Our MMUs are staffed by qualified clinicians and maintained to the highest clinical and hygiene standards.

Why Choose Clarity Occupational Health?

Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) FAQ's

A Mobile Medical Unit is a fully equipped mobile clinic that brings occupational health services directly to your workplace, reducing employee downtime and improving uptake.

MMUs can provide health surveillance, statutory medicals, safety critical assessments, and pre-employment checks—tailored to your workforce needs.

They minimise travel time, reduce lost productivity, support high employee attendance, and allow flexible scheduling around shifts.

They can be deployed across most workplaces, including construction sites, warehouses, factories and logistics hubs—wherever employee access to clinics is limited.

MMUs are private, secure and designed to meet clinical governance and data protection standards, ensuring employee confidentiality at all times.
